MISSION TRIP TO BOHOL, PHILIPPINES (MARCH 2013)

DAY 2

On the second day being a Sunday, it was a full day of preaching as we had 3 places to minister at. Our day began very early as we made our way to the Tagbilaran City Jail for an early morning service. We met a sister (inmate) whom we first got to know in 2011 together with her husband. However this time around we found out that her husband had just passed away a few weeks before due to lung cancer. This was not because he was a smoker but due to second hand smoke.

Ps. Justin preached a similar message on doing great exploits for God while Veron, Anita and Ps. Jacquie again shared testimonies on people who rose up for God.

Once again we handed our some donated items to the inmates.

We were then taken for a tour around the place as we visited some of the inmates.

After leaving the Tagbilaran City Jail we made our way to Ps. Peteís Church to minister there. The worship was led by their worship team. Ps. Justin then preached the message on the 7 final statements of Jesus on the cross before he died.

Veron shared a personal testimony and then we ministered in worship and prayed for those who were present.

We had about 30 minutes of rest before we made our way to the next church for service. This was a church on Panglao Island (another little island next to the island of Bohol) which is headed by Ps. Fernando Impang and his wife Sr. Madelene.

We had vibrant time of worship that was led by the worship team there. Ps Jacquie then preached the message on Zaccheaus and the sycamore tree. This was also dramatized by the people there, which made the message more interactive. Anita then shared a testimony and then we ministered in worship and as Godís spirit began to move, people came up for the altar call to be ministered to personally.
