The land of Malaysia is home to many indigenous people, known
as the Orang Asli. Officially, there are 18 orang
asli tribes. The work we do is located in Pahang
with the Jakun community. Traditionally they are
animists who believe in the presence of spirits in
various objects and the worship of nature. Our
hearts desire is to evangelize and equip our
indigenous brothers and sisters to be soul winners
and are able to reach and plant churches in their
own communities for the furtherance of the gospel.
In January 2014 we adopted our first village and
planted a church there. In November of the same year
we adopted a second village 10 minutes away and also
planted a church there. The name of our church is
GEREJA KASIH KARUNIA TUHAN. Each church has an
average of about 40 people and growing. We thank God
for all the lives saved and we pray for more to turn
to Jesus.
